Nations of Origin is a multicultural, education and leadership not for profit program run by PCYC which culminates annually during NAIDOC week. The program has four main components being reconciliation, education, cultural identity and sport. The aim is to increase school retention with an 80% school attendance rate required to participate, lower youth crime, keep youth off the streets, keeping young people active in the hope of creating positivity and cultural respect within the community

Cultural Identity is a focal point of the project, with all teams representing their community by using their traditional tribal name from their local area.  The teams consist of a 70:30 ratio of Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal youth.

This year the Blacktown Workers Club Group donated $11,000 to help towards the overall expenditure of this amazing program. This money will help cover the costs of accommodation, fuel, uniforms, bus hire, meals, trophies and their club presentation at the end of the season.
